FR Royal Blue Parka: 46 cal CAT 4 Against Wind, Cold, and Arc Flash

This is one of the highest-rated parkas we make: 46 cal/cm² (ATPV), CAT 4. It's built for utility, pipeline, and plant crews who spend the winter outside near energized gear. A 9 oz 88/12 twill shell stands up to industrial laundry, and the 7 oz FR modacrylic insulation with a wind and vapour barrier keeps prairie wind from cutting through. The 7 oz FR 88/12 lining means it's FR inside and out.

The details are made for gloved hands: a two-way concealed brass FR zipper you can open from the bottom to sit in a truck or climb, an adjustable waist to seal out drafts, recessed rib-knit cuffs, and a pen slot on the left sleeve. The 2" Yellow/Silver/Yellow FR reflective trim in the CSA pattern keeps you visible on short winter days.

It's certified by UL to NFPA 2112, meets ASTM F1506 and CAN/CGSB-155.20, and is arc-rated for use under NFPA 70E and CSA Z462.
